A) ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES WARRANTY TERMS
Electrical appliances BORMANN ELITE have been manufactured according to strict quality standards. and fully comply with the applicable legislation and the established European and National standards. A warranty period of 12 months is provided for professional use and 24 months for amateur use. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase of the product. Proof of warranty entitlement is the purchase receipt (retail receipt or invoice). In no case does the company cover the relevant cost of spare parts and labor if and when it is not accompanied by a copy of the receipt. In the event that the repair must be carried out at the company's service, the transportation cost (from and to) is borne entirely by the sender. The devices are sent for repair to the company or to an authorized workshop by the appropriate method and means of transport.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS:
- Spare parts that wear out naturally from use (brushes, cable, switches, chargers, chokes, etc.).
- Devices that have been damaged by failure to comply with the manufacturer's instructions.
- Poorly maintained devices.
- Use of unsuitable accessories
- Devices that have been provided, without financial burden.
- Damage caused by an electrical connection at a voltage different from that indicated on the device nameplate.
- Connection to a non-grounded socket.
- Change in current voltage.
- Damage resulting from the use of salt water.
- Damage or malfunction resulting from improper cleaning of the device.
- Contact of the device with chemicals or damage from moisture, corrosion.
- Devices that have undergone modifications - changes or have been opened by an unauthorized workshop.
- Devices used for rental. The warranty covers exclusively the free replacement of the component that has a manufacturing defect or material failure. In case of a shortage of spare parts, the company reserves the right to replace the device with another corresponding model.
- Broken parts/components due to improper use After the warranty has been processed, the warranty period of the device is not extended or renewed. Spare parts or devices that are replaced remain in the possession of the company. Other requirements, other than those mentioned in this warranty form for repairs or damage to electrical devices, do not apply. Greek law applies to this warranty.
